End Fistula Campaign saves 340 women

A total of 340 women have received a new lease of life following a Ministry of Health and Child Care,  UNFPA and Women Alliance initiated  fistula repair program. HealthTimes Correspondent  Ministry of Health and Child Care Maternal Health Officer Chipo Chimamise said the program is done at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital every quarter of the year. “Currently the Ministry has done seven repair camps with more than 340 women having been repaired,” said Mrs Chimamise. Zambia’s cholera crisis which started in October 2017 continues to affect the lives of people in the southern African country.
