Doctors without Borders, MSF is currently training not less than 50 community health workers in Chegutu to enable them to fight Cholera at community level.

Speaking through their Micro-blogging site, Twitter @MSF_Zimbabwe, the organisation said they were ramping up efforts to contain and combat the Cholera pandemic which has hit the Mashonaland West Province.
“#MSF is mentoring 15 nurses, 10 sprayers, 25 community health workers & cleaners to enable them to respond effectively to the #cholera outbreak in Chegutu.”
MSF in collaboration with the ministry of health and child care, (MoHCC) have set up a Cholera treatment center at Chinengundu Clinic, close to the area that was hardest hit by the pandemic.
Briefing Journalists in the capital on Monday, Health Minister, Dr David Parirenyatwa said government was working flat out to contain the pandemic and all cities and towns had been put on high alert.
