PREPARATIONS to the 7th edition of the Zim-Afro Medical and Health Expo are at an advanced stage amid indications that not less than 100 exhibitors will be participating at the annual event.
In an Interview with HealthTimes, Zim-Afro Director Mr Shepard Chakanza said all was in place and the response from exhibitors was overwhelming.
“We are expecting not less than 100 exhibitors and eight foreign exhibitors to grace this year’s event. The expo will run from 27 to 29 September at the Harare International Conference Center (HICC).
“We are calling all players in the health services sector, manufacturers of medical equipment, pharmaceutical supplies and manufacturers, Regulatory Bodies, Health executives and hospitals and clinics,” said Chakanza.
The Medical and Health expo has over the years witnessed tremendous growth both in terms of exhibitor numbers and quality of exhibitors and this year’s event is set to be bigger and better than previous editions.
Past editions of the expo have seen Medical aid organisations, emergency services, health advocacy, financial institutions, wellness centers, alternatives medicines, biomedical diagnostics/laboratory service, Radio biology, Physiotherapy, orthopedic technology, dentistry equipment and devices, veterinary equipment and devices and clinical utilities and communication systems taking part in the expo.
Meanwhile, the 7th edition of the Medical and Health expo comes hot on the heels of yet another successful hosting of the Emergency, Medical Services expo in March this year which drew participation from players in the Emergency Health services sector, uniformed forces and the corporate world.
