Africaid Trains 104 CATS On HIV Self Testing

ZIMBABWE’S community based  organisation, Africaid, in collaboration with Population Services International (PSI) and the ministry of health and child care (MoHCC), this week trained at least 104 Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters (CATS) on the use and appreciation of HIV self testing kits in Manicaland province. PEOPLE who have their hair cut at salons are at high risk of contracting HIV through sharing barber clippers, the National Aids Council (Nac) has warned. Clients also risk contracting the potentially fatal Hepatitis B and C.
