DAILYNEWS:  Government is considering banning public gatherings until the world contains coronavirus, the Daily News can report. Although Zimbabwe is still to record any positive case of the deadly virus, authorities are not leaving anything to chance after the disease was confirmed in neighbouring South Africa where 13 people have been detected to have the killer disease so far. #COVID19:Kenya Records First Confirmed Coronavirus Case

BLOOMBERG: Kenya reported its first case of the coronavirus, a 27-year-old female national who had returned from the U.S. via London, Health Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said on Friday in a televised speech. “The case was confirmed on the 12th of March,” he said in the capital, Nairobi. “The patient is stable, her temperature has gone down to normal.”
