#BREAKING: Zim Finally Shuts Boarders Due To Covid-19

ZIMBABWE President Emerson Mnangagwa has announced the closure of all the country’s boarder posts in a move set to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVIDー19).

Giving his state of the nation address on Covid19, President Mangagwa said public gatherings have also been reduced from 100 to 50.

“From now on till further notice, Government discourages unnecessary travel within the country. Unnecessary visits to friends and relatives should be minimized. With immediate effect government imposes a ban on beer-halls until further notice.

“It has become necessary for our safety as a nation. Visits to hospitals have been reduced to once a day and one visitor per patient. Public gatherings are now limited to a maximum of 50.”

While government will not close informal markets, citizens are encouraged to limit their visits there. All transport operators are encouraged to comply with measures to be announced soon, says President Mnangagwa.
