ZIMBABWE yesterday recorded 1122 new recoveries from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 7627 against 8021 cumulative cases, the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) has revealed.

According to the October 12, 2020 daily COVID-19 sitrep, only 10 new cases were recorded yesterday and no deaths were reported over the past 24 hours.
481 Polymerous Chain Reaction (PCR) tests done today (positivity was 2.1%). 1122 new recoveries were reported while the national recovery rate rises to 95% and active cases go down to 164 today,” said the Sitrep.
Harare reported 1114 recoveries yesterday after following up cases and as at October 12 2020, Zimbabwe has now recorded 8021 cases 7627 recoveries and 230 deaths
