High Court Thursday quashed charges against former health minister Obadiah Moyo, arrested in June last year for awarding US$60m contracts to Drax International without following tender process. Justice Kwenda said charges did not disclose elements that constitute an offense Former health minister was being charged with criminal abuse of office over the alleged awarding of a $60m contract for Covid-19 supplies.
