Speaking to HealthTimes on arrival at the Robert Mugabe International Airport (RGM), ICASA director Luc Armand Bodea who is the head of delegation said Zimbabwe was ready to host the event.
We are back here to unfold ICASA planning and we want to assure the world that Zimbabwe is ready to welcome them in 2023, from 4 December to 9 December 2023,” he said.
Their arrival also comes as they will be meeting the head of state, President Emerson Mnangagwa next week where a formal announcement will be made at a national level.
The final decision by ICASA follows a recent visit by the International Conference of AIDS and STIs Africa (ICASA) Executive Board where they had come to assess Zimbabwe’s capacity to host the 2023 ICASA conference.
