DIPLOMA (S) IN COMMUNITY NURSING AND NURSING ADMINISTRATION COURSES - JANUARY 2027 INTAKE
MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND CHILD CARE (PARIRENYATWA GROUP OF HOSPITALS)
Applications are invited for the Diplomas in Community Nursing and Nursing Administration Courses for the 2026 intake. All applicants should apply through their head of office. Applicants who meet the course requirements and those that were not accepted last year should apply.
Diploma in Community Nursing
Applicants for the Diploma in Community Nursing Course should meet the following criteria:
They should be a Registered General Nurse and Midwife.
They should have a minimum of two years experience in nursing exclusive of any training period.
They should hold a current Practice Certificate from Nurses Council of Zimbabwe.
Diploma in Nursing Administration
Applicants for the Diploma in Nursing Administration Course should meet the following conditions:
They should be a Registered General Nurse with any post basic qualification registered by the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe.
They should have a minimum of five years’ experience in nursing exclusive of any training period.
They should hold a current Practice Certificate from Nurses Council of Zimbabwe.
Requirements:
Applicants for both courses should have a minimum of 5’0′ Level subjects at Grade C or above. The ‘O’ Level subjects should include English Language and a Science subject.
All applicants should enclose the following: certified copies of professional, registration, academic, national identification, birth, practicing certificates and recommendation letter from the Supervisor.
Applications should also state the following:
- Full names
- Date of appointment
- Designation (e.g. Sister-in-charge, Senior sister)
- Date of appointment to present grade
- Qualifications including dates of training
- E.C. Number (If applicable)
- Cell phone Number (yours and for the supervisor)
- E-mail address (yours and for the head of institution)
- Years of experience excluding training period.
