TWO doctors with Mpilo Central Hospital, Dr Mpiloenhle Sibanda and Doctor Donald Mutote, lost all their property in the fire that recently gutted down the health institution a situation which has left them helpless and struggling to adequately perform their medical duties.
Speaking to healthtimes, Mpilo Central Hospital Doctors Association (MHDA) Secretary General, Dr Mthabisi Bhebhe said the two doctors were now struggling to survive under the current predicament.
“This has affected them adversely as they find themselves in a difficult position, particularly in securing enough financial support to recover their lost property.
“A number of promises have been made to support them but unfortunately nothing much has been received. As a result of this, through the Association, the aforementioned victims are appealing to potential sponsors who can assist monetarily, whilst a lasting solution is being established. In pursuit of the above, MHDA was appealing to your organization if it could assist directly or indirectly in this regard.”
