Dhana made his first attempt in the health fraternity at Avenues Clinic during the COVID-19 era, a period when the tourism and hospitality sector was experiencing challenges induced by the pandemic.
Commenting on Dhana’s departure, Avenues Clinic Corporate Affairs Officer, Cordellia Shereni said Dhana had left an indelible mark at the institution as he brought a lot of changes during his short stint with the organization.
I can confirm that Mr Dhana has left the Avenues Clinic. As you may know, he is a well-known and experienced manger and leader in the hospitality industry and he has left to pursue other interests,” said Cordellia.
She added that during his tenure, Dhana had introduced a system whereby the hospital staff offices are now housed within the hospital premises so as to create a long standing relationship between patients and hospital employees.
“He valued relations and image above everything. That’s why you find that before he took over, our offices were housed adjacent the hospital but now we all working from within the hospital premises. This has cemented relations between us the employees and our clients the patients.. This shows that apart from being our clients, we value their presence in our facility and we are ready to serve at any given time.”
In 2022, during Dhana’s tenure, the Medical Investments Limited also opened a state-of-the-art retail pharmacy at the Chinamano Corner Mall to meet the increasing demands of their patients.
Meanwhile, First Mutual former Chief Finance Officer, Peddy Chigunduru is the Acting Chief Executive Officer for Medical Investments Limited (MIL) Avenues Clinic.
