Zimbabweans in the Diaspora have formed a health Association, the Zimbabwean Diaspora Health Alliance (ZDHA) in a bid to strengthen diaspora participation in Zimbabwe’s health system.
In a statement on their Facebook page, ZDHA said, “Having realized the need for the Zimbabwean diaspora to participate in strengthening the health system in their country of origin we formed this alliance which will be a Single Point of Access( SPA) for the diaspora to the ministry of health in Zimbabwe.
“Currently we have several groups in the diaspora doing different great things to strengthen our health system but at times there is duplication of activities. We feel that if these groups can work together or collaborate it will result in scaling up of their services to the benefit of the entire health system.”
Different organisations will continue to function as Independent organisations but collaborating with each other or even working together on certain projects.
