MINISTRY of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) has set up a temporary camp at Chirundu boarder post to monitor and prevent Cholera from entering the country.

Through their official Twitter Account, the Ministry of Health said the move was step towards showing how prepared they are to tackle cholera.
“As part of preparedness Strategy @MoHCCZim set up a temporary camp at Chirundu boarder post in case of emergency. Buses leaving Zimbabwe have stickers,fliers & brochures with information on preventing Cholera.
Speaking to health minister Dr David Parirenyatwa last week, he said Zimbabwe was on high alert
Health and Child Care Minister Dr David Parirenaytwa said Zimbabwe was on high alert over the prevailing Cholera outbreak obtaining in Zambia and Malawi with Zambia having recorded more than 2000 cases already.
