Zim Cumulative COVID-19 Cases Cross 30 000 Mark

THE total number of COVID-19 cases that have been recorded since the coronavirus was first reported in Zimbabwe has now breached 30,000.

According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) daily sitrep, the country recorded  639New Cases and 38 Deaths reported in the last 24 hours. (7 day rolling average* for new cases falls to 668 from 736 yesterday).

As of 21 January 2021, Zimbabwe has now recorded30 047 Cases19569 recoveries and 917 Deaths. All 639 are local cases: 293 cases are from Harare•As of 20 January 2021 @1500hrs there were 272 hospitalised cases: 173 mild to moderate, 81 severe and 18 in Intensive Care Units.”

3257 tests were done yesterda (Positivity today was 20%). 316 new recoveries reported: National Recovery rate stands at 65.5% and Active cases go down to 9561 today.
