The Covid-19 has to date claimed close to 20000 lives and infected hundreds of thousands across the globe including Zimbabwe where the virus has infected three people and claimed  one life already.

In a communique addressed to the St Annes management, health permanent secretary, Dr Agnes Mahomva said  they were ready to refurbish the hospital through a Private Public Partnership (PPP) deal with Sakunda holdings.

The team was satisfied with what they saw during the tour and would like you to finalise our request. Please not that we have since identified Sakunda Holdings to be our partner to work with us and yourselves to do all the remaining renovations-and refurbishments necessary for the hospital to function in the shortest period of time.

“Sakunda Holdings has confirmed that they have the resources and funding to do the work and hence refurbishment will not be at your cost,” said Dr Mahomva.
