HEALTH and Child Care Minister Dr. Obadiah Moyo was this Saturday afternoon granted $50 000 bail by Harare Magistrate Munamato Mutevedzi.

The state did not oppose bail. Dr. Moyo who is being accused of three counts of criminal abuse of office which date back to 2019 will be back in court on the 31st of July 2020.
As part of his bail conditions, Dr. Moyo will deposit $50 000 with the clerk of court, continue residing at his current residence in Mt Pleasant, report three times a week at the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission offices, surrender his passport with the clerk of court, not interfere with witnesses and provide surety with title deeds for a stand in Eastlea belonging to his spouse, Memory Moyo.
