The Avenues Clinic Honours Medical Doctors

By Michael Gwarisa

The Avenues Clinic, a subsidiary of Medical Investments Limited, hosted a cocktail dinner last night to appreciate a total of 57 medical doctors from various specialties whose work has distinguished the health facility as a world-class clinic.

The event marked the fourth edition of the annual appreciation ceremony, which has grown significantly in size and prestige over the years. This year’s theme was “Getting It Right the First Time.”

In her opening remarks, The Avenues Clinic General Manager, Mrs. Sibusisiwe Ndhlovu, highlighted the doctors’ impressive contributions to the hospital’s growth.

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you all to this special occasion—the Annual Doctors’ Appreciation Cocktail. Every year, we gather to celebrate and recognize the unwavering dedication of doctors across various disciplines who tirelessly serve in our hospital. Their commitment to excellence and patient care is the foundation of our success as a hospital, and tonight, we honor you,” said Mrs. Ndhlovu.

Speaking on the theme, she emphasized that it reflects both the doctors’ commitment to delivering accurate diagnoses and effective treatments and the institution’s commitment to providing an environment, resources, and systems that support the best patient outcomes from the start.

“The road is long and may be winding, but there is nothing a concerted effort cannot address. We will definitely get it right the first time. Your hard work, expertise, and sacrifices are appreciated. This appreciation event is a testament to the deep respect and gratitude we have for you.”

Meanwhile, The Avenues Clinic Medical Director, Prof. Godfrey Ignatius Muguti, also expressed his appreciation.

“I am pleased to have you all here this evening for the fourth edition of our Annual Doctors’ Appreciation Cocktail. This event is significant for us as Medical Investments Limited because it allows us to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible work done by our doctors across various specialties.”

This year, The Avenues Clinic is commemorating its 42nd anniversary, marking numerous milestones achieved over the years.

“We have witnessed great success as a hospital, and much of this success is attributed to the strong partnership we have with you—our doctors. Your commitment, dedication, and the time you invest in our hospital to care for patients are invaluable. It is because of you that we continue to provide exceptional healthcare and deliver positive patient outcomes.”
