GLOBAL Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) Advocacy Officer, Annah Sango has been listed amongst the featured speakers to headline the 2022 International AIDS Conference , the world’s largest conference on HIV and AIDS.

The 2022 AIDS Conference will be held in Montreal Canada and will draw various key speakers from various parts of the world. Speaking to HealthTimes on the development, Anna said the AIDS conference will provide her with a platform to speak on various interventions Zimbabwe is working on to improve access to HIV prevention methods for women and young people.
I am super excited about it as well, It has come at an opportune time when Zimbabwe approved the use of the Dapivirine ring recently and a few days ago South Africa also approved the Ring. This will be an opportunity to continue to advocate fir prevention tools for young women and girls and emphasized the importance of acceptability,accessibility ,availability and affordability of these tools,” said Annah.
Annah has over eight years’ experience in HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights policy and programmes, advocating for adolescent girls and young women living with HIV’s meaningful engagement and representation. Annah has been part of various boards, working groups and initiatives, including the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM-Zimbabwe), Global Fund Community Rights and Gender working group and the Ready to Lead project.
