Dr Nyasha Masuka has been appointed chief executive officer of Harare Central Hospital.

He replaces Ms Peggy Zvavamwe who has been at the helm of the institution for several years. Prior to this appointment, Dr Masuka was Matebeleland North Provincial medical director.
The Zimbabwe Medical Association congratulated Dr Masuka on his appointment.
“#ZiMA congratulates Dr Nyasha Masuka on his appointment as the CEO of Harare Central Hospital @hrecentralhosp. We wish him well and God speed as he takes charge of the biggest refferal hospital in Zimbabwe,” said the medical body.
On his LinkedIn account, Dr Masuka says he wants to plough back into the public health system of Zimbabwe.
“I am a Social-Democratic who values integrity, fairness and equity in social services. My objectives are to contribute to re-building of the public health system in Zimbabwe in particular and the developing world in general.”
