DEPUTY CHINESE Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhao Baogang has reassured parents with children studying in China that their children were safe and sound despite the the Coronavirus which has killed at least 3000 in China and other parts of the world.
The deputy ambassador said the the Chinese government was working tirelessly to ensure the virus is contained in mainland China before the end of April 2020.
“I want to reiterate that now the situation is under control and now they are less confirmed cases and more and more people are being cured and discharged from the hospital. i believe that the situation will improve and the issue will be resolved very soon maybe before the end of April just as some scientists predicted,” said the Deputy Ambassador.
