PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has extended the level 4 National Lockdown by another two weeks as to accelerate the national vaccination program.
The plan to maintain the current level 4 lockdown will make it possible for the immediate acceleration of the vaccination program throughout the country,” President Mnangagwa said.
Zimbabwe is planning to vaccine 10 million people by year end and less than a million people have been vaccinated so far. The cumulative number of the vaccinated people with first dose stands at 955 656 and 619 883 have received their doses as at 14 July 2021.
